Main Plot: Future Ted makes his children sit down as he tells them the story of how he met their mother. The show shows mainly flashbacks of Ted’s experiences in his life, about his college days, the women he dated, his closest friends, tons of time in the bar, etc, all the wild events leading up to how he finds the woman of his dreams, their mother.
Thoughts: At first I judged this show by its name, thinking that it probably wouldn’t be that interesting. How would a show about someone’s mother be interesting? I was clearly wrong. I got constant laughter watching this show and watched all 7 seasons (or 6.5 seasons) in a week. The show rarely, or almost never has a bland episode. It constantly keeps you on your toes and there are constant references to previous episodes. The jokes are hilarious and pervy and the story line is realistic. Main Plot: Thor and Loki were brothers that grew up raised by their father Odin, King of Asgard, one of the many worlds aside from Earth. When Thor is about to be crowded king, the Frost Giants of Jotunheim interrupt to retrieve their “casket”, their source of power that was stolen long ago, which was the cause of their lost to the Asgardians in a war back in 965 AD. Thor, angered, disobeys his father and goes to start a fight with the Frost Giants, putting the Asgardians in harm of a new war starting, causing his father to exile him to Earth and removing him of his powers. On Earth, he meets scientist Jane Foster who aids him on his path to save both Asgard and Earth.
Thoughts: Probably one of my favorite fantasy/sci-fi movies of all time. In the beginning, I thought it’d be one of those terrible sci-fi fiction movies but the story was really good. I was really impressed since there aren’t many movies out there like this, and I’d definitely recommend it.

Main Plot: Jamal, a teenage boy who grew up in the slums of Mumbai, India, goes on as a contestant of an Indian version of ‘Who Wants To Be A Millionaire” and manages to get the answers correct. Because it was so rare for uneducated “slumdogs” to know the answers to these questions, Jamal gets arrested and interrogated under the suspicion of cheating, where Jamal tells the investigators stories in his life that lead him to know the answer for each question. His life included murder, robbery, gangsters, first love, war, and more.
Thoughts: Probably one of my favorite movies of all time. Just the way this movie was set up with flashbacks and showing how he got every answer, great. I was blown away; this movie deserved all 10 of its Oscars. Maybe I’m just a sucker for tragic, heartfelt movies. A mixture of everything. One of the saddest and happiest movies I’ve ever seen.

Main Plot: David is a guy that has everything in life: looks, money, women. He has a friend named Julie, who he occasionally sleeps with for fun until he falls for Sophia, a girl that his best friend introduced him to. Julie sees David with Sophia and is jealous, being extremely tired of being used by David. One day, Julie decides to take David for a drive, and they get into an argument, ending with Julie trying to commit suicide with David inside the car. Julie dies, while David is left with his face destroyed. David overcomes many obstacles as he tries to cope with being deformed, keeping his father’s company running, and trying to win Sophia’s heart.
Thoughts: This movie is like the old version of Inception, and I think by far has much more meaning. Probably one of my favorite movies so far. I thought the ending fit it so well, being just as twisted as Inception, but in a much better way. I love this movie so much because it’s so sad, from a guy that has so much on the outside, into a guy that learns the deeper meaning of life. One of the best movies that was made back in 2000s.

Main Plot: Ben Jacobs, just turning 18, is released from a troubled-teens rehab, eager to see his former girlfriend Jessica Morgan. Ben was put in rehab for witnessing something horrible during his childhood and to be away from his home which was an unsafe environment. When he returns, he sees Jessica has found a new boyfriend and Ben becomes angry and obsessed with Jessica, kidnapping her.
Thoughts: I actually found the movie pretty interesting and I thought Ben was really insane in some parts, but I really understood him. He was always troubled and had a pretty messed up childhood. The ending really killed me.
My Rating: 7 out of 10
Recommend?: Maybe. It’s okay; if you need some time to kill, this movie’s an okay one to watch.

Main Plot: In science class, Bay does a blood test that makes her question whether or not she is really the biological daughter of the Kennishs. Later she finds out that she was switched at birth, a mistake that the hospital made when she was born. She was switched with Daphne and the families learn to cope with this mistake. The Kennishs and the Vasquezs learn to deal with the differences between their richer and poor lifestyles and dealing with the fact that Daphne is deaf.
Thoughts: At first I thought that this show would be super cliche, with the deaf girl as poor and super nice, while the rich girl was mean. But I actually enjoyed the show and thought it really opened doors for deaf people, giving us a better idea of what it’s like to be deaf and how society can learn to be more accepting to disabled people. The plot line is quite interesting.

Main Plot: Chris Pratt, a former hockey star in high school, gets into a car accident that leaves him with brain damage, forcing him to take rehabilitation classes to help him with his short term memory. Chris lives with his blind roommate who assists him in daily life activities. Unable to get another other job, Chris is forced to work as a janitor at a bank, leading him to be lured into a bank robbery.
Thoughts: I thought the plot line was very good and Joseph Gordon-Levitt did an excellent job playing a mentally disabled kid but there were some parts of the movie that were a bit slow. Some of the scenes were vulgar and contained too much swearing for my taste, but overall good movie. I thought the movie had good meaning, some parts really sad.

Main Plot: After the Scanlon family has family issues, Melissa Burke, a single politician has to take in her niece and nephew, Ryder and Lennox. With her busy job and a family to raise now, Melissa decides to hire Joe Longo as the nanny to help take care of the kids. Joe Longo, a former rich commodities trader goes bankrupt after a Ponzi Scheme occurs and is forced to work as Mel’s nanny.
Thoughts: Another one of those family shows where it’s incredibly funny yet it’s not dirty; Every episode is interesting and worth watching, not a single slow episode. One of my favorite shows.

She has to go back to teaching again and meets a new attractive male teacher, Scott. She tries to get his attention, hearing his family is extremely rich. Hell breaks loose when Scott dates Squirrel, Halsey’s rival across the hall teacher.
Thoughts: Funny, mostly with dirty jokes. I wouldn’t recommend for anyone under 16, but it’s rated R so you shouldn’t be watching it if you’re under 17 anyways. Cussing, sex-related, and drug related scenes are seen a lot. Made me laugh, ALOT.

Thoughts: As a usual Transformer movie, the movie had awesome effects and Shia LeBelouf never fails to be a good actor. I actually like this new girl better than Megan Fox and thought she played her role fairly well. +100 points because Patrick Dempsey appeared in the film, and I’m a huge, HUGE fan of him, though I don’t think he really fit his role.** Plot line was pretty good; Not as good as the first movie but better than the second.

Main Plot: A writer, Eddie Morra, has a temporary block and can’t seem to write his book. A friend gives Eddie a experimental pill that is told to allow a person to use 100% of their brain. Eddie takes the pill and gains inhuman abilities as well as some bad side effects. The pill takes him to experience things he never thought he would dream of, gaining millions of dollars within days and much more.
Thoughts: This movie was surprisingly good and really unexpected. There were some parts that were a bit gorey for me, but overall, excellent movie and transitions. I haven’t seen a movie like this in a while, with such an interesting concept.

Main Plot: The Chinese Ambassador Han is shot during his meeting with world leaders, talking about the Triads and possibly knowing where Shy Shen, a mythical figure important to the Triads, is. Lee chases after the shooter to find that the shooter is someone he knows personally from his past, and is unable to shoot him. Carter and Lee team up once again to find Shy Shen and save Ambassador Han, his daughter, and the world from destruction.
Thoughts: Again, one of the movies where, it being a sequel a movie, yet the movie is just as good as the first one. One of the scenes that is my favorite is got to be when Carter and Lee get into an argument but don’t talk to eat other, Lee ordering fried chicken and watching African movies, while Carter orders Chinese food and watches Kung Fu movies.

Main Plot: It has been about decade since Pam and Gregory have gotten married, and Greg has finally been able to fit in pretty well with the Byrnes. Greg has gained the trust of Pam’s overprotective and former secret agent father-in-law Jack Byrnes, yet when Jack comes in town to celebrate his grandchildren’s birthday, the action continues as Jack’s former suspicions arise and Greg fights once again for his place in the family. Hilarious events occur including erection pills, family arguments, and dirty jokes.
Thoughts: One of the movies where, it being a sequel a movie, yet the movie is just as good as the first one. This is movie number three of the Focker movies and it’s hilarious! With plenty of dirty jokes :D
